Laoshan, also Mount Lao, is the most famous Taoist Mountain with spectacular peaks and beautiful coastal scenery. It lies nearly thirty kilometers to the east of downtown Qingdao. The Taoist temples, sunrise and sea of clouds have enjoyed a high reputation for a long time. It also bears many honorable names such as “No. 1 coastal mountain” and “fascinating and blessed place” which make it a famous scenic spot for sightseeing and a hot choice for spending holidays.

Badaguan Scenic Resort

This is a very famous and beautiful sanitarium area situated in the east of the city in the Shandong Province. The name Badaguan means “eight passes” as this place was made up of 8 avenues named after the 8 passes of China and later were added 2 more avenues. Badaguan Scenic Area is characterized by the fantastic mixture of garden scenery and courtyard beauty. Thick green trees are everywhere and gorgeous flowers bloom in different seasons.
Golden Beach (Huang Dao)

Being the largest beach on Qingdao West Coast (Xihai’an – Huangdao District) and home of the Qingdao International Beer Festival, it offers travelers and beachcombers a golden sandy playground as far as the eye can see. Dozens of kiosks with food, drinks, beach gear, and souvenirs line the seashore.
